How we got started:

I have a close circle of friends and family that are very crafty. When the economy wobbled and the job market softened, I started thinking of ways I could help those closest to me. The idea fairy came to me in the shower one day with an idea: They needed an art dealer but for their crafts.

And I knew I could be their craft dealer.

While building this business I felt the gap between lifelong crafters and beginners like me. I also saw the generosity of crafters and a community that different guilds were slowly building. I saw another avenue where I felt compelled to explore. I created My Craft Workshops to encourage community through exploring crafts together.

I also set a new goal for a physical location in an area locally where crafters do not have many choices to find the special link that the craft community provides.

Emilie Becker at a Utah Warriors professional rugby game. The team has great passion, just like those home crafters we represent on My Craft Dealer. No experience in sales needed, we take care of all the business side while you craft!

Let me introduce myself.

I am Emilie Becker. I live in Utah. I am not a crafter. I am not an artist. I am a mother of three wonderful sons. I have a long professional history in the insurance industry. I value honesty, transparency and compassion.

I am a huge fan of the Utah Warriors (professional rugby) and West Ham United (premier league European soccer).

I have a passion for helping people. I created this business to become a trusted marketplace for high-quality, unique artisan goods while supporting the passion of home crafters.

Let us be YOUR Craft Dealer.
