Sew Far, So Good

Meet our newest crafter behind Sew Far, So Good: The Ultimate ‘Girl-Dad’ Crafter!

When it comes to making his daughter smile, home crafter Sew Far, So Good goes above and beyond-right down to her beloved teddy bear’s wardrobe! Inspired by his daughter’s love for her furry friend, home crafter Sew Far, So Good set out to create outfits as special as she is. But he didn’t stop there- like any resourceful ‘girl-dad’, he called his mom for a crash course in sewing, learning long-distance how to stitch up adorable dresses just the right size for teddy.

Now, his creativity has blossomed into a collection of playful, one-of-a-kind teddy bear clothes-including some seriously cute overalls! Each piece is crafted with love, laughter and a dash of family teamwork. We’re thrilled to share the crafter behind So Far, So Good’s delightful creations with you-because every teddy deserves to be dressed for the occasion!

Novel Works Studio

Meet our newest My Craft Dealer star: professor by day, carpenter by night! He’s the woodworking genius  behind Novel Works Studio, designing the exquisite wood crafts you’ll find in our shop. Whether he’s working with reclaimed wood or transforming a simple two by four into a stunning work of art, his natural talent shines through every piece. With nearly 30 years of experience and even a hand-built wood shop to his name, his craftsmanship is truly something special. It all began with a stroll into a woodworking store—and a spark of inspiration that’s still going strong. We’re thrilled to have him on the My Craft Dealer team and can’t wait for you to discover his unique creations!

Tatum

If we had a “Mom of the Year” award to hand out, Tatum would win it hands down!

Let me introduce you to the amazing crafter and unstoppable force that is Tatum. Her life is already a bestseller, and it’s a privilege to share her story with you. Born and raised in beautiful Colorado, Tatum was one of 12 adopted siblings (yes, 12!). Her family found her and officially welcomed her home when she was just 9 years old, sparking an unbreakable bond and the kind of fierce spirit you can’t help but cheer for.

Fast forward a decade, she met her soulmate, got married, and started her own family—cue the next chapter of her epic tale! While expecting her second child, Tatum adopted her little brother (who was just two at the time!), all while clocking hours on the road for parental visits. Talk about superhero status: She was on call for parental rights hearings just five hours after she gave birth and the adoption of her now son was finalized 10 months later!

Tatum is a crafting queen and a natural-born giver. She’s been sewing since she was a kid, which blossomed into making jewelry and pretty much anything creative she could dream up. She’s all about showing her kids what it means to do what you love, filling their home with joyful energy and handmade magic. Her world revolves around family, and her heart is pure gold.

With her sweet husband as her steadfast sidekick, Tatum joined My Craft Dealer to share her story, spread her creative joy, and support her beautiful family. We couldn’t be happier to welcome her to our crafty crew. Let’s give a big, warm welcome to Tatum—the real-life mom of the year and the newest star in the My Craft Dealer universe!

Ms. Sydnee

Let me introduce you to the dazzling Sydnee!

Picture this: Sydnee perched at the corner near her house, her sparkling handmade jewelry displayed with a sign proudly declaring “Jewelry for Sale.” She’s a familiar face in the neighborhood, and I often catch glimpses of her as I visit my son across the street. What always grabs my attention is Sydnee’s incredible dedication—she’s out there, shaded under her umbrella, for hours on end, sharing her creations with the world. You can feel her warm, creative spirit shining through in everything she does!

Sydnee’s talent is truly inspiring! She’s overflowing with kindness, creativity, and a fierce passion for making beautiful things. Even after a life-changing accident a few years ago, Sydnee’s spark hasn’t dimmed one bit—her determination and positive energy are unstoppable. She regaled me with tales of shucking oysters to find exquisite pearls, then expertly paired them with clasps to craft one-of-a-kind necklaces. Sydnee’s artistic flair shines in her charm necklaces, bead bracelets, and earrings, each piece infused with her joyful creativity. Nothing slows her down! And now, she and her mom are off to plan an epic adventure to Thailand—Sydnee can hardly contain her excitement!

Sydnee’s love for hot pink is legendary, and her smile lights up the whole block! I’m absolutely thrilled to help share her artwork and get it into the hands of as many people as possible. Sydnee isn’t just talented—she’s unstoppable, and her creative drive is contagious!

AK

Our most reclusive crafter is AK. Retired from the military, AK clears his head by taking sea glass he has acquired over many years in traveling the world, matching individual pieces and hand twisting sterling silver or bronze wire around to hold them in place. He doesn’t do this for money, no. His art comes from his heart and soul. He is meticulous, earnest and caring as he creating gifts for family, friends and neighbors.

Yes, he lives in the northern most state, hibernating in the winter and growing berries and flowers in the summer. AK’s picture represents him and his art: resilient, sweet, and a family favorite! This fireweed that grows wild near his home. The honey is a family favorite and jelly candy is one of a kind!

I am grateful to share his art and story of this wonderful soul!

COMING SOON: Tinker City Crafts

Are you like me? I’ll admit — I blush when I miss a step or fumble through instructions. I get annoyed when a pattern won’t bend to my taste. And yes, I quietly cry when something looks effortless for everyone else but feels impossible for me. The result? The project gets tucked away, forgotten in a box, and I go buy handmade pieces from others instead of finishing my own.

If you’re itching to rescue those sidelined projects and turn frustration into fun, welcome to Tinker City Crafts! Think of it as your favorite neighborhood Auntie — warm, encouraging, and full of clever shortcuts. Here’s what makes the City so special:

  • Learn at your own pace: take your time or sprint through — whatever fits your schedule.

  • Craft solo or join a crew: work quietly by yourself or craft alongside friends for extra laughs and accountability.

  • Expert help when you need it: ask seasoned crafters for tips, vent about sticky spots, and cheer when you finish.

  • Explore freely: dive deep into one craft or try a little of everything that sparks your curiosity.

  • A place for everyone: no experience necessary — all makers are welcome.

Dust off those projects and come play — Tinker City Crafts is ready to celebrate your wins, big and small.

FAQs

  • From what we have found, most sites are focused on volume of an item and competing with mass produced items. We do not. None of the crafts here are mass produced. There might be years of collected crafts here but make no mistake: each of these are hand made with significant thought and soul. Our focus is on the crafter and the story behind the craft as much as the craft itself.

  • You are supporting home crafters being able to continue to create with passion. While not new, this is upfront and present with My Craft Dealer. Just like an art dealer, we focus on the individual piece of art that our home crafters make.

  • Yes. With the time, passion, energy that these creatives have poured into their work, other can do this too! What you are purchasing is the makers effort, energy and trial and error that has finally produced this home art. I speak from personal experience in writing that you CAN, yes. But you haven’t yet. Me either. Which is why I created this company. These crafters have put in the work that you and I have not yet.

This is why we created our sister company, Tinker City. Tinker City teaches you the skills needed to create like our makers here. More to come!

  • It might be. Mass produced items can be purchased at a lower price point. These are NOT mass produced. Each stitch takes time, effort and energy. That is reflected in the price. So is the amount of expertise that each of our makers has to create what you see here. We are not looking to compete with price. Just like when you are buying traditional art, you purchase the passion, time, effort and vision that our makers put into their home creations.
